Intuitive Channeled Healing
I serve intuitively, with trust. My experience has been that if I think my way through the process - trying to figure out what to do - the results are less potent; so I use the tools and techniques I have been given with careful discernment about whether my ego is moving me or if the guidance is coming from our helpers and guides. My previous practice of offering Reiki continues to open into new ways of channeling life force energy, particularly through the use of my voice and other sacred instruments.
This is a laying-on-of-hands to assist a flow of healing energy from Source; it is spirit-guided, hands-on healing. It is often point-specific, as in Acupuncture. There are many benefits to this work. It is often a deeply relaxing and comforting experience for the receiver. It can help to ease or heal physical injury or discomfort. It can also help to clear energetic blockages, create alignment, and release a feeling of "stuckness." It can help you to let go of negative or repetitive thinking. This simple, non-invasive practice will assist in your overall health and wellbeing. It is a gentle channeling and infusion of Love, Light and life force energy, not associated with any religion.
What happens during a session?
You will be fully clothed, either sitting or laying down. I will place my hands or fingertips on your body, usually on the shoulders, the heartspace, or near the energy centers. There is no predesigned order for the treatment. If you are healing a specific injury, I may place my hands on or near that place to help focus the flow. I may make some movements in the space near your body, and I may use sacred sound to assist the process. You may keep your eyes open or closed, whatever is most comfortable for you. I will only place my hands on you with your permission, and never in an inappropriate manner.
The healing you receive will continue to integrate beyond our time together. You may feel subtle or obvious effects during or after the session.
I have done some research, and "darshan" is the best word I've found to describe this experience. I offer this with humility and love.
"Darshan" comes from the Sanskrit verb meaning "to see."
Darshan literally means to see the Divine; it is a term used to express the act of physically looking into the eyes of the image or person into which the presence of the Divine can be easily seen. By so doing, the receiver is brought more closely into connection with the Divine presence, allowing our soul - the spark of the Divine within us - to recognize the original state of our beingness. Through darshan we reactivate our connection to Spirit, both internally and externally.
For the receiver, sitting in the presence of Light and Love - darshan - can help to remind you of who you really are. It can help to bring your Divine essence into your awareness. It can remind you that compassion, grace and love exist, and that there is an abundance of it for you in the universe. It can remind you that you are not alone or separate, and that your unique life has meaning. It can be a source of great inspiration, contentment and joy.
How does it happen?
We do the work through eye gazing, mostly in silence. Occasionally I may be guided to place my hands on you to assist your process (see above). The gazing is a simple and profound experience that creates an opening to love and compassion, a re-membering of goodness and truth. People report feeling completely seen and compassionately held by the Divine or by the Universe.
While my loving presence may be a helpful catalyst for your awakening, it is truly your own Divine essence and the connectedness of all things that you will experience. As such, this process will support you even outside of our sessions.
